I was originally just going to let this idea sit on my computer and never see the light of day, but then Tabbi-Katt kept pestering me about it. She liked it, and she's incredibly critical of everything, so I figure it's good enough to wander into the outside world.

I also just realized, I never posted A Conversation Within Empty Space onto my personal LJ, so you can just follow the link to the community I posted it in.

Anyway, before I go any further with the story, I need to explain a few things so the story makes sense. Firstly, since Conversation I've switched from referring to the "9" characters by digits to writing the names out in fan fiction, because "Five" looks much more pleasing to my eye than "5".

Secondly, this story was first planned back in late July, early August, which sounds stupid, but I had seen others uploading wonderful stories on the 9 forum at that time, so I figured people there would understand how hard it is to keep the plot bunnies at bay. Back then, I thought 2 and 5 had their workshop upstairs, I didn't know when 6 would make his entrance, and I thought 6 would be much more out of touch with reality than he is in the film. We'll just slap an AU sticker on this and leave it that, hm?

This story was my try at seeing inside 6's head, and only a few things have changed now that I've seen the movie, because I'm still obsessed with sticking to canon.

Okay, now that my giant warning is out of the way, let's get started!

Title: Delirium
Fandom: Shane Acker's 9
Word count: 6, 307 (don't attempt to read this if you have something to do!)

Being you. What's it like? )

Woo, that took waaaay too long to format.

Fandom: Shane Acker's 9
Word count: 2,235
Focus: 2 and 5 (implied pairing, but nothing that can't be read as friendship)
Summary: 5 is afraid of every shadow, thinking that a machine has found him. 2 is worried that the group is drifting apart, leaving everyone alone. But it is possible that these two can work through their fears together.
Notes: This was written in a gift exchange, which I was ridiculously late for. My secret buddy was Socks-And-Notebooks, and she since 2x5 is her OTP, I decided to write up some fluff for her gift. Despite the fact that this was nearly two months late (I also have a vid to make as an extra gift) Socks seemed happy with it, which made me happy in return.

The noises of war had quieted considerably over the time Two and his kind spent in the cathedral )

Focus: 9 and 6, either as friends or romance, take your pick
Summary: Nine didn't want words. He just wanted comfort from a friend.
Notes/Warnings: This is an exercise in flash fiction, and just some fluff between my OTP.

If there truly was a man on the moon, it could be said it was the only one around at that time of night where it could be late or early hours to see a small cloth figure running down the halls of a chapel )

I realized I still haven't posted this fic to my LJ so here it is. A big reason why I never posted it is because I wanted to edit it, but I am too busy and tired these days to go and do that, so just accept that this is not as good as I would like it to be, but I still love it enough to post it.

Title: Since He Could Crawl
Fandom: How to Train Your Dragon (movie)
Focus: Stoick and Hiccup
Rating: G
Genre: Family/drama
Summary: Pre-movie. Hiccup has always been different, and Stoic has always had a hard time connecting with him. Sometimes the hardest part of love is not knowing how to show it.
Challenge: Use a character's name only once in dialogue.
Author's notes: Firstly, this story was conceived on the drive home from my first viewing of the movie. Yes, really. Because of this, I wasn't aware that Hiccup's mother had a name in the original books, and chose Oleander for my own reasons. Please forgive me, book fans. Also, there's a small reference to Big Fish in here that no one's found yet! Keep looking!
Also, thank you to all those people who keep faving and reviewing this on FF.net. I have no idea what I've done to deserve such attention.

The day Hiccup was born was born, a storm was raging outside. The house had creaked from the force of the winds, and the thunderclaps could be felt within his mother's and father's very bones. They took it all as a good sign; he was coming into the world amidst a flurry of activity and strength. )
Fandom: Portal (specifically Portal 2)
Title: This Place is Dead
Focus: Wheatley
Warnings: Spoilers for everything past chapter 5 of the game.
Notes: Based on a comment that got into the prompt post at [community profile] portalkink bemoaning how the meme was going slowly with, "....dead. Or dying. This place is dying :(" So I wrote this up. It's only 250 words, and the only reason I'm posting it here is because I'm bored as hell and it seems a good idea. Later it probably won't, but right now I don't care.

The other AIs in the place kept pestering him. )
Title: This Can't Be Happening
Fandom: Shane Acker's 9
Focus: 5 and 6
Rating: PG
Notes: Part of an exchange for Halloween, and I decided I might as well post this up here as well, just to prove that I am doing some stuff creative-wise, even if it is small. Basically a short story based around a nightmare these characters might have.

They didn't happen every night... the end was always the same )
